Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2, 2026
Countist ("we," "us," or "our") operates the subscription tracking application at countist.app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it. If you have questions, email countist@structurl.io.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide through our authentication provider, Clerk. We do not store passwords — Clerk handles authentication securely on our behalf.
Subscription data. Countist is a manual-entry tool. All subscription records you create — service names, prices, renewal dates, notes — are stored in our database and belong to you. We never connect to your bank, credit card, or any financial account.
Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details. Stripe gives us a token and basic billing information (last four digits, expiry, billing name) to manage your subscription.
Usage data. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the marketing site (countist.app). This includes pages visited, time on site, and general geographic region. This data is aggregated and anonymized.
Email marketing. If you sign up for our mailing list, your email address is stored with Mailchimp. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
